The Strategic School Improvement Fund (SSIF)

This DfE funding aims to provide school-led support to schools that require improvement. Teaching Schools, Local Authorities and/or Dioceses can make applications to the fund.

As part of a regional approach to the management of this fund, a Strategic School Improvement Delivery Hub has been established in Kent and Medway coordinated by Highworth School. The Hub brings together Teaching Schools, KAH Area Boards and KCC representative with expertise and capacity for school improvement in order to shape applications to the SSIF that reflect local and regional priorities. The Hub will coordinate the delivery of successful projects and oversee their monitoring and evaluation of impact.

More information about the fund can be found here or you can contact enquiries@llse.org.uk with any queries.

The window for applications to the fund is currently closed but is expected to open in the Autumn term.
